The ReGenesis Partnership in Spartanburg, SC, has worked to rebuild and revitalize the Arkwright community for the past 20 years. This effort has involved a multi-stakeholder partnership composed of representatives of Federal, State, and local government agencies; the private sector; academia; and community organizations. The partnership has utilized the Collaborative Problem-Solving Model, where the community organization (ReGenesis) has worked effectively with the private sector (Solvay) and government agencies (e.g., EPA, HHS, HUD, SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, City of Spartanburg, and Spartanburg County) to address formerly contaminated sites and redevelop these properties.
Timothy Fields, former EPA Assistant Administrator and MDB Senior Vice President, has facilitated the ReGenesis partnership for 20 years, and will moderate this webinar.
