Working with the City of Gary and the Strong Cities Partnership, Vita Nuova conceived and designed the transit-oriented development around the Miller Station. State and federal agencies continue to fund this vision, turning the Miller Station into an “origination” station for trains to Chicago, reducing travel times significantly through the use of double-tracking.
