Property Ownership and Status

The property is currently owned and operated by The Chemours Company. On August 20, 2015, Chemours announced its plan to discontinue manufacturing operations at the facility. Production ceased at the end of September 2015, with decommissioning of the existing facilities occurring over the next several months. Dismantling of facility assets and infrastructure is expected to begin in 2016. Chemours seeks a property disposition approach that achieves an enduring and sustainable productive reuse of the entire property.
