Carissa Patrone Maikuri

Carissa Patrone Maikuri is a community-centered strategist, facilitator, and consultant with over 14 years of experience in community and economic development, research, education, and communications.She brings a relational approach, collaborating with rural communities, organizations, and Tribal partners to build shared understanding, strengthen collaboration, and translate shared vision into actionable strategies. She specializes in community economic development, communications, and project management.  
 
She has a Bachelors degrees in Spanish and Communication Studies (GVSU), a professional certificate in Climate Change & Health (Yale), and is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), and Entrepreneurship Development Professional (EDP) through the International Economic Development Council.
