Elaine Richardson

Vice President

Elaine Richardson has over 25 years of experience in senior positions in firms servicing the real estate and environmental industries.

Ms. Richardson has significant experience in the real estate industry as a researcher and strategist. She has worked with nationally recognized commercial developers on acquisition identification and analysis, community relations and marketing. Her communications skills are instrumental in educating communities on issues relating to contamination and redevelopment, and assisting in building support for the redevelopment of underutilized properties and preservation of green space. Her project experience has included brownfields redevelopment, adaptive reuse projects, community planning programs, as well as new construction.

As a public relations professional, Ms. Richardson has managed media and public relations on complex real estate, environmental and community issues for non-profit and corporate clients. She has a broad network of print and mass media contacts and works closely with reporters and producers to ensure each message is effectively communicated. She has developed communication programs and facilitated public meetings related to real estate, construction and environmental issues. By combining technical multi-media skills with a distinct understanding of human relations, Ms. Richardson creates communications programs that reach the core of their objectives.

Ms. Richardson has authored and co-authored numerous articles related to real estate and environmental issues. She has completed industry training related to real estate, hazardous building materials, and OSHA compliance issues. Ms. Richardson is a past-president and member of CREW-CT, a professional organization dedicated to supporting and advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Corporate Communications from Southern Connecticut State University and has completed industry training in hazardous materials and OSHA compliance issues.
